摘要
Microbiological analysis has been performed on semen from 174 males, 83 with a normal semen analysis and 91 from infertile married men with oligospermia and/or asthenospermia. Using the diagnostic criteria published by WHO (1979), 15% of the fertile male and 36% of the subfertile males were found to have infection present in the semen ( P < 0.05). Comparison of the semen characteristics of both groups indicated that infection in the semen did not significantly affect the count, motility or volume of the specimen.
