Before Suicide

This chapter explores the differences in planning of outcome by those who attempt and those who complete suicide. It first considers similar studies into this topic, before discussing the prevalence of previous suicide attempts in this study sample, as well as other events occurring prior to suicide, including hospitalization, homicidal acts, and method of suicide.
