摘要
This paper, based on the cognitive-schema theory of Swiss psychologist Jean Piaget, discusses the contextual application of multimodality in English teaching. By analyzing Piaget's theory, this paper proposes the importance of multimodal teaching mode in English teaching and explores how to combine multimodality with Piaget's theory to promote knowledge transfer of students in real situations similar to simulated situations, thereby improving students' English learning outcomes.
