Impairment of endocrine function in acute pancreatitis

The incidence of acute pancreatitis (AP) is high. Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) has attracted attention from worldwide experts and scholars because of its severe symptoms, systemic complications, and poor prognosis. Endocrine damage occurs in acute pancreatitis patients, but the underlying pathogenesis remains unclear.
