摘要
Fractional order impedance model of a wood tissue is approximated using an integer order transfer function in this paper. Both the constant phase elements (CPEs) in the fractional order model are optimally approximated in terms of a fourth order transfer function in the proposed model. Flower Pollination Algorithm (FPA) is used for this purpose. The emulation of the proposed CPEs is carried out by using the Foster-I and II, and the Cauer-I and II structures. The impedance characteristic of the proposed model is demonstrated on OrCAD Pspice platform.
