Arginine supplementation for prevention of necrotising enterocolitis in preterm infants

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of arginine supplementation in decreasing the incidence of necrotising enterocolitis among preterm neonates. Subgroup analyses based on dose of arginine and gestational age of participants (< 32 weeks, > 32 weeks) are planned for this review.
