Objectives The objective of this study was to investigate the relationships between peer relationships, prosocial behaviors, and theory of mind (ToM) in adolescents with intellectual disabilities (ID) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), with a particular focus on exploring the potential mediating role of ToM in the connection between peer relationships and prosocial behaviors.
