摘要
Nowadays, biosensor-based detection system is developing rapidly in different fields because of the high selectivity of different recognition elements. A typical calibration needs univariate regression to correspond the value of analyte signal response with its concentrations. Although the emergence of the noninvasive biosensor, unexpected interfering effects from miscellaneous compounds in the sample increase the detection uncertainty of the sensors. Chemometrics play a pivotal role in extracting relevant information to detect and investigate desired compounds with improved accuracy and efficiency. This review primarily provides the advantages and disadvantages of some key bio-receptors and non-bio-receptors, also their typical detection approaches, followed by explicit attention to their progress. Then discuss different chemometrics methods, which were bridged in developing electrochemical, fluorescence, and image-based food bio-sensor in the past five years. This study offers a new prospect to engineer new biosensors in food applications integrated with suitable chemometrics for the onsite investigation of food safety.
