“On-water” defluorinative cyclization of trifluoromethyl enones with phosphine oxides: synthesis of polysubstituted furans

A defluorinative cyclization of readily available trifluoromethyl enones with phosphine oxides for the synthesis of polysubstituted furans is developed in a pure water solution.
