The Management of Pediatric Asthma Using Telehealth: An Integrative Review

Introduction: Asthma is one of the most chronic noncommunicable diseases of childhood, affecting 1 in 12 children in the United States. The use of telemedicine for the management of pediatric asthma has shown improved health outcomes; however, it is important to understand what can impact its acceptance. The purpose of this review was to identify the facilitators and barriers to pediatric asthma management, as viewed by stakeholders.
