摘要
Recently, the study on cascading failures induced by dependence between networks and load redistribution has attracted wide attention from researchers. In this study, the robustness of asymmetric interdependence weighted networks is investigated. An asymmetric weighted interdependent network model is proposed to analyze cascading behaviors triggered by initial attack on a small number of edges. Large quantities of numerical simulations are carried out on different types of networks. The results revealed that with fixed node ratio, interdependent networks with larger values of average node degrees are more robust. In addition, increasing the node ratio between different layers can make the entire system more robust against attacks as well. These research findings can be useful in deepening the understanding of cascading behaviors in complex systems and provide some constructive suggestions on the design of robust systems.
