The Direct Effects on Some Plants and Animals of Pollution in the Great Lakes

The subject of water pollution is summarized in a general manner in the first part of the paper. The second part of the paper sets forth examples of the effects of pollution on plants and animals in specific places in the Great Lakes. The findings of research and the need for further research are discussed.
