Ru(ii)-catalyzed amidation reactions of 8-methylquinolines with azides via C(sp3)–H activation

Ru(ii)-catalyzed amidation reactions of 8-methylquinolines with azides have been developed through C(sp³)–H bond activation to give quinolin-8-ylmethanamines in good yields.
