Solubility and thermodynamic properties of naproxen in the binary mixtures of ethanol and ethylene glycol were determined by shake-flask method followed by a spectrophotometric method in the temperature range of 293.2–33.2.2 K. The acquired solubility values of naproxen are correlated by using some linear and non-linear solubility models such as the van't Hoff, the MRS, the Jouyban-Acree, the Jouyban-Acree-van't Hoff, the modified Wilson and the λh models. The accuracy of each used model is tested by the mean relative deviation of the back-calculated data. In addition, density values of saturated mixtures are also determined and represented by the Jouyban-Acree model at defined temperatures. Moreover, the apparent thermodynamic properties of naproxen are calculated based on van't Hoff and Gibbs equations.
