The cumulative burden of double-stranded DNA virus detection after allogeneic HCT is associated with increased mortality

Key Points We demonstrate frequent plasma detection of multiple double-stranded DNA viruses after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation. There was a dose-response relationship of the cumulative burden of virus exposure with early (days 0-100) and late (days 101-365) mortality.
