Research progress of gas sensors based on nanometer materials

Working principle and main characteristics of gas sensors are briefly outlined,and working principle,research progress and development trends of four kinds of gas sensors,e.g.nano-metal oxide gas sensors,nano-metal particles gas sensors,organic polymer gas sensors and carbon nanotube gas sensors are focused on.Inadequacies of nano gas sensors are briefly revealed and the development trend in the future of these types of nano gas sensors is explained.
