摘要
The present study reports the synthesis and characterization of a new class of optically active nanostructured poly(amide-thioester-imide)s (PATEI)s, having 2-amino-5-mercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (AMT), as a potential corrosion inhibitor, and various amino acids from direct polycondensation reaction of an AMT-containing diamine with several diacids in molten tetrabutylammonium bromide as a green molten salt medium and triphenyl phosphite as the homogenizer under microwave irradiation. The polymeric samples were readily soluble in a variety of common organic solvents, forming low-colored and flexible thin films by means of solution casting. The values of absorption edge wavelength (λ0) were determined by ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy. All of the resulting PATEI films exhibited high optical transparency. Most of these polymers showed high thermal stability, with decomposition temperatures above 380°C. They had 10% weight losses at temperatures beyond 400°C and left more than 46% char yield even at 800°C in nitrogen atmosphere. The obtained polymeric materials were in the nanoscale size. They were assembled uniformly and randomly in a filamentary morphology as shown by Field emission scanning electron microscopy micrographs. They had a nano-sized diameters of about 40 nm.
