摘要
Unconventional production methods represent alternative ways of solving a wide range of manufacturing processes. The present paper deals with one such way in the form of the use of an angular industrial robot in the machining process. Firstly, a specific technical solution of the machining workplace is presented with emphasis on the end effector. Subsequently, a practical example of milling a cooler diffuser mould for a student formula-style racing car is discussed in detail and the relevant issues are demonstrated. The optimal setting of the production process, including the relevant production parameters, is documented and the entire production process is discussed in detail. The conclusion then summarizes the benefits of the applied technology and the knowledge obtained.
