The Problems of the Determination of Ammonia Nitrogen in Water with Nessler' s Reagent Colorimetric Method

Nessler' s reagent colorimetric method is a national standard method.Based on the working practice for years,the problems deserving focus in the detection process are indentified in this article.Experimentally analyzed the impacting factors in the ammonia detection with the Nessler's reagent colorimetric method.Put out some problems should be paid in the entire testing process in order to decrease the blank absorbance,reduce analytical errors and enhance the accuracy of tests.
