Iron single-atom anchored N-doped carbon: an efficient catalyst for one-pot, scaled-up pentazolate synthesis

An efficient and recyclable iron single-atom catalyst with FeN 4 sites has been fabricated, which can facilitate the formation of an Fe( iv )O intermediate and achieve scaled-up pentazolate synthesis via a three-step, one-pot process.
