It imitates and generates similar content by learning from large amounts of data. This technology has changed information generation and dissemination, with potential positive and negative impact on medical publishing. The emergence of generative AI has made transmission of information more intelligent and automated, greatly reducing costs and improving efficiency of information spread. However, it also provides unprecedented technical 'support' for the proliferation of false information.1
