摘要
The present work proposed a novel method for preparing vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) by microwave drying followed by microwave calcination. The thermal degradation in the whole process was studied by using thermal analysis TG/DSC. The calcined products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, IR spectrum, Raman spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. The results indicated that more than 98% of V2O5 was formed in the products, and a lamellar structure was the characteristic crystal structure of the synthetic products. At a calcination temperature of 360°C, a most optimized crystallinity of the products appeared. The application of microwave irradiation technology has a great potential for the practical preparation of V2O5.
