摘要
In this paper, a novel dual-rotor axial-gap flux-switching permanent-magnet machine with dc excitation winding is proposed. First, the topology and operation principles of the proposed topology are clarified. Basic design equations and parameters are provided, and the electromagnetic analyses of the proposed flux-switching machine with 3-D FEA are performed. Parametric optimizations using 3-D FEA are completed for different dc excitations. A prototype machine is manufactured, tested, and validated. It is shown that the air-gap flux of the proposed axial-gap machine can be controlled in a wide range compared to conventional surface magnet machines.
