Mills et al included four studies that had comparator groups in operating times between LSPS and Flip groups. One of these was our prior series; the other three papers were involving LLIF and posterior fusion only and did not include any ALIF comparisons. One of these three papers was based in the USA (Ziino et al [2]), which demonstrated a 77-minute reduction in operative time (149 vs 226 minutes) in 66 patients (42 LSPS vs 24 Flip). Full-Text PDF
