A metal-free catalyst for electrocatalytic NO reduction to NH3

Metal-free BP is explored as an efficient catalyst for the electrocatalytic NO reduction reaction to NH 3 (NORR), which is attributed to the B and P atoms of BP, which act as dual-active centers to synergistically promote the NORR and inhibit the competing HER.
