Formation of information competence of a lawyer: Problems and solutions

A lawyer implements the subject of his professional activity on the basis of various information. In the field of law, with the help of information, firstly, the interconnection and interaction of all elements of legal mechanisms is carried out, their integration into the legal system of society, the connection of legal entities with the external environment, and, secondly, information is the basis of all stages of legal impact. On the basis of complete and timely information, movement takes place in the direction of the set goals, optimal decisions are made. One or another transformation of information is the basis for the solution of any legal problem. In this regard, the traditional approach to the formation of a competent lawyer in the field of working with information does not meet modern requirements, which determines the relevance of developing a new content of information training for students of legal specialties.
