摘要
The enzymatic synthesis of eight luciferin analogues from phenolic derivatives in one-pot reactions is reported by Pimchai Chaiyen and co-workers in their Research Article (e202116908). Two novel D-luciferin analogues with methyl substituents were obtained; these compounds emit red and brighter light than the native D-luciferin. A new detection technology named LUMOS was also developed for in situ detection of organophosphate pesticides (OPs), including parathion, methyl parathion, EPN, profenofos, and fenitrothion, at parts per trillion (ppt) levels without requiring sample pretreatment.
