Characterization Methods In article number 2302208, Aimin Du, Xiangming He, and co-workers utilize theoretical knowledge of crystal structure, structural phase transition, and crystal field theory to provide insights into the chemical-mechanical degradation failure process of Co-free Ni-rich cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, the authors summarize the application of commonly used advanced characterization techniques in this field.
