摘要
Catalytic pyrolysis of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) to obtain jet fuel range products over a bimetallic Mg–Mo/biochar catalyst was investigated in this study. The impacts of loaded metal type, catalyst-to-LDPE ratio, and temperature on the catalytic pyrolysis product yields were analyzed, and the stability of the catalyst for recycling used was studied. The results indicated that the yield of liquid products increased, and the quality of liquid products was improved by the synergy effect of Mo and Mg. The aromatization reaction of chain hydrocarbons and the ring-opening reaction of double-ring aromatics were promoted by the increase in pyrolysis temperature. The bimetallic Mg–Mo/biochar catalyst has an excellent catalytic effect on LDPE pyrolysis, and 100 area % of jet fuel range products can be produced at a temperature of 550 °C with a catalyst-to-LDPE ratio of 4:1 or a temperature of 600 °C with a catalyst-to-LDPE ratio of 1:1. The present work provides a simple and economical way to convert waste plastics into jet fuel range products.
