摘要
This chapter introduces the intrinsic structures of energetic single-component molecular crystals, including molecule structure and crystal packing. Most of the applied energetic compounds, such as picric acid, TNT, PETN, TATB, RDX, and HMX, belong to molecular crystals. Energetic molecular crystals possess the largest population among applied energetic compounds, including but not limiled to N-heterocyclic compounds, all-N molecular crystals, and molecular cocrystals. This kind of energetic single-component molecualr crystals still remains as the focus in the research and development of applicable energetic compounds.
