ZnCl2 catalysed transfer hydrogenation of carbonyls and chemoselective reduction of C=C bond in α,β-unsaturated ketones

This manuscript describes the ZnCl 2 -catalysed transfer hydrogenation of aldehydes and ketones and chemoselective reduction of CC bonds in α,β-unsaturated ketones using i PrOH as a hydrogen source.
