摘要
After a brief summary of the mechanisms of formation of carbon blacks, the authors describe the use of fractal analysis for characterizing the morphology of aggregates in relation to their conditions of formation. For reinforcing grade and electrical grade carbon blacks, they compare the results of the standard DBP method and the intra-aggregate void volumes as determined by thermoporometry.
