摘要
Study was conducted on the skin of wild and sloth bear to record the histology. The horizontal section of sloth bear skin showed sparsely distributed hair follicle bundles which were elliptical in out line. Each hair follicle bundle was consisted of 3-4 primary hair follicles without secondary hair follicles. Near the root of the hair follicles clusters of sebaceous glands were noticed. The horizontal section of the wild boar skin presented compound hair follicles sparsely distributed in the dermis of skin. Each compound hair follicle possessed linearly arranged three primary hair follicles with centeral one being larger. The dermal papillae was made up of loose connective tissue with abundant adipose tissue, more particularly in between the epidermal pegs.
