摘要
Compared with traditional methods of centrifugation and filtration, separation based on magnetic particles has some distinctive advantages, such as high separation efficiency, easy operation and recycling. Magnetic particles have been used widely in separation, enrichment and detection of substances in solution system in recent years. Iron oxide nanoparticles have large specific surface area, unique magnetic properties and good biocompatibility, which may provide tremendous potential of applications in magnetic separation. This paper reviewed the applications of magnetic nanoparticles in the field of bio-samples separation, water pollution disposing, and heterocatalysis, explored the current development status and existing problems, and prospected the application areas of magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles separation.
