ONE STEP SYNTHESIS OF α-AMINOALKYLFURANS AND ITS APPLICATION TO A FACILE SYNTHESIS OF PYRIDOXINE (VITAMIN B6)

Abstract One step synthesis of α-aminoalkylfurans was achieved by the reaction of α-methoxyurethanes or α-methoxyamides with furan. This method was applied to an efficient synthesis of pyridoxine.
