The photo/electrocatalytic reduction of CO 2 into valuable chemical feedstocks with clean sunlight or electricity is a promising route for the sustainable development of society. Covalent organic framework (COF)-based catalysts demonstrate the great potential for the photo/electrocatalytic reduction of CO 2 due to the predesignable structures, high crystallinity as well as excellent porosity. In this chapter, we summarize the recent progress of COF materials for photo/electroncatalytic CO 2 reduction and provide the challenges and perspectives to promote the development of this field.
