Modern Approaches to the Preservation of Monuments of Cultural Heritage in the Structure of Rural Settlements

The preservation of both cultural values and natural heritage plays a significant role in human life and influences the formation of all spheres of society. There are many fortification monuments on the territory of our country, which, unfortunately, are not given the proper set of measures for their restoration. One of these monuments is the Pavlovsk fortress, which is located in the Nikolaev settlement of the Rostov region. Currently, this object is in need of measures for its restoration and adaptation for modern use. To solve this problem, an integrated approach is required, which allows not only to preserve the object itself, but also to provide all conditions for its use and familiarization of visitors with the history of the place. The solution to this problem is possible with the adoption of a set of measures related to the sustainable development of the settlement territory as a whole.
