Diversity of Wild Ornamental Plants in Maruthamallai Hills of Southern Western Ghats, Tamil Nadu

The present study highlights the diversity of wild ornamental plant species collected from Maruthamalai hills of Southern Western Ghats. The total enumerated plants are 36 species, 32 genera belonging to 15 families. Out of 36 wild ornamental plants, two are endemic such as Caralluma diffusa (Wight) N. E. Br. And Barleria buxifolia L. Data will be useful to researchers and people who are interested in wild ornamental plants.
