COVID-19 vs Influenza for Risk of Thrombotic Events in Hospitalized Patients

To the Editor We have several concerns about the recent study1 that demonstrated that hospitalization with COVID-19 before and during COVID-19 vaccine availability vs hospitalization with influenza in 2018-2019 was significantly associated with a higher risk of venous thromboembolism within 90 days.
