Investigation on the luminescence properties and mechanism of a novel Pr3+-based red persistent luminescence phosphor Cd3Ga2Ge3O12:Pr3+

In this work, an red-emitting persistent phosphor Cd 3 Ga 2 Ge 3 O 12 :Pr 3+ was designed and successfully developed. This material presents superior luminescent properties, which could be a promising choice for AC-LEDs, bio-imaging and other fields.
