Tuning of the photocatalytic performance of g-C3N4by polyoxometalates under visible light

Polyoxometalate/g-C₃N₄composites were prepared with Keggin POMs and g-C₃N₄. POMs used as electron traps can efficiently promote the spatial separation of photogenerated electrons and holes of C₃N₄, which resulted in a high photocatalytic activity towards MO degradation.
