In this research, a novel low-profile dual-band dual-polarized antenna with an artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) reflector for 5G N41 and N79 bands applications is presented. Two square-ring patches are introduced to form two dipoles in ±45° polarizations and two integrated baluns are used to excite the dipoles. By inserting a dual-band AMC reflector, the profile of the proposed antenna is $0.098 \lambda_{0}\left(\lambda_{0}\right.$ is the wavelength at 2.55GHz). It can also provide 7.9% (2.55-2.76GHz) and 13.7% (4.5-5.16GHz) relative bandwidth and the isolation can be improved to 22dB. Stable radiation patterns with peak gain of 6.75dBi are also obtained. It represents a potential scheme for 5G N41 and N79 bands applications.
