The OBN/OBC techniques come into being due to their advantages of converted wave, symmetrical acquisition, wide-azimuth and long offset data and so on. With the rapid development and application of OBN acquisitions, the importance and challenges of the supporting quality control (QC) techniques are also growing. BGP has implemented many node acquisition projects both in domestic and abroad, and also has collected several OBN acquisition projects, with many QC techniques developed and accumulated.
