N/O coordinated s-block potassium atoms as highly active sites for electroreduction of CO2 to CO

The synthesized K–N, O/C catalyst demonstrates remarkable CO selectivity with over 90% Faraday efficiency (FE) in a wide potential window between −0.5 V and −0.9 V vs. RHE and the FE of CO is nearly unchanged during 24 h stability experiment.
