Hypoxia can aggravate tumor occurrence, development, invasion, and metastasis, and greatly inhibit the photodynamic therapy (PDT) effect. Herein, carbon nitride (CNs)-based DNA and photosensitizer co-delivery systems (BPSCNs) with oxygen-producing functions are developed to address this problem.
