Properties of double chlorides in the systems ACl/SmCl3 (A = Na-Cs)

The phase diagrams of the systems ACl/SmCl3(A = Na-Cs) were relnvestlgated by DTA; the thermodynamic stabilities of the existing double chlorides were determined by solution calorimetry and e.m.f.-measurements In galvanic cells with solid electrolytes. Furthermore, their magnetic susceptibilities and crystal structures were measured.
