摘要
We report the fabrication of a "rocking-chair" type high-energy Li-ion battery with a high voltage LiCoPO4 cathode with a graphite anode. We adopted scalable solid-state synthesis to yield the LiCoPO4 particles and subsequently carbon-coated by decomposing the glucose. Prior to this process, LiCoPO4 is ball-milled to enable homogeneous carbon-coating. Eliminating irreversible capacity is very important for the fabrication of full-cell, in which we adopted four different strategies. The LiCoPO4-C/graphite cell is capable of working at the potential of ~4.7 V with an energy density of ~326 Wh kg−1.
