Synergistic carbon and hydrogen reactions in the electrochemical reduction of CO2to liquid fuels

This review summarises the strategies of designing electrocatalysts to improve both carbon reaction (CO₂to carbon intermediates and to organic liquid fuels) and hydrogen reaction (hydrogenation of carbon intermediates), and electrochemical reduction of CO₂to liquid fuels.
