摘要
Background and Objective: Health utility is a value that quantifies health-related quality of life (HRQoL) from patient-reported outcomes (PRO) scales. In China, most HRQoL scales used in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) are general scales. There are also some disease-specific HRQoL scales of COPD and asthma. The objective of this review is to evaluate the validity of using disease-specific HRQoL scales of COPD and asthma in Chinese HTA. Method: We systematically searched PubMed and WanFang databases for relative literatures to identify disease-specific HRQoL scales for adults with COPD and asthma. The information of scale, including Chinese version validation and health utility are summarized. Result: 37 scales of COPD and 40 scales of asthma are selected. 6 scales of COPD and 4 scales of asthma have Chinese version validation. 3 of COPD and 3 of asthma have utility scoring system by measuring utility directly or mapping with other general utility scales, none of which is based on Chinese population. Conclusion: There is still no disease-specific health utility scale with a scoring system based on Chinese population. Future researches should be focused on the development and validation of chronic respiratory disease-specific health utility scale available for Chinese population.
