摘要
The field of polymer nanocomposites has been under immense attention both academically as well as industrially. However, it is only recently that more investigations have been focused on rubber nanocomposites with various inorganic fillers for advanced applications. This is mainly due to the effects of nano size dispersed inorganic materials loading in the polymer matrix, which drastically change the properties. Although a great deal of research has been carried out on the synthesis and properties of rubber nanocomposites, there is not much work focused on the aging and degradation properties of rubber nanocomposite in particular. Therefore, the goal of the present chapter relies upon the study of the aging and degradation investigated so far in rubber nanocomposites in the presence of various inorganic materials as nanofillers.
